Behind Blissful Bodywork

We should feel at home in our bodies

Blissful Bodywork began with a simple belief: we shouldn’t spend our lives simply getting by in our bodies—we should feel at home in them, connected to them, and able to truly live in them.

My Story

My journey into wellness began in 2016 when I became a Licensed Aesthetician. I loved helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. Shortly after, I became a stay-at-home mom, but my desire to care for and help others never left. My husband, a Marine Corps combat Veteran, also showed me firsthand how difficult it can be to feel comfortable living in your own body. That experience deepened my desire to understand the connection between the body, stress, tension, and touch. In 2024, I had the opportunity to attend Mind Body Institute, which led me to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2025.

Massage quickly became more than another service. It became a way to help people slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and release the physical tension that comes with everyday life.

As a mother of four, I understand how easy it is to put yourself last. Life is busy, and with work, family, and endless responsibilities, self-care can feel like a luxury instead of something you genuinely need. That is one of the biggest reasons I created Blissful Bodywork.

I wanted to build something different—a business centered on the idea that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating. It can be a quiet moment to breathe, a relaxing massage after a long week, a restorative foot treatment, or simply having someone listen to what your body needs and create a treatment around you.

My approach is personal and customized. Every body is different, so I use the techniques I’ve been trained in—including Swedish, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, myofascial release, and cupping—to create treatments around each client’s goals and comfort level.

THE VISION

My vision for Blissful Bodywork is bigger than providing massage services. I want to create an experience where people feel seen, heard, comfortable, and cared for—where taking time for yourself isn’t something to feel guilty about, and wellness can be both effective and enjoyable.I want Blissful Bodywork to grow beyond individual treatments into experiences, packages, events, and services that make taking care of yourself easier and more accessible.

Whether you’re looking for relaxation, relief from everyday tension, therapeutic relief, or simply time for yourself, my goal is for you to leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.

Blissful Bodywork isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a moment of bliss in the middle of real life. That is the vision I’m building—one client, one treatment, and one meaningful moment of self-care at a time.

You deserve to feel good in your body.
